Bio
A career law enforcement officer with over thirty years of experience in emergency services, including as a paramedic, Jonathan decided to further his academic journey during COVID-19. Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong, ethical, resilient, and self-functioning teams while ensuring the safety and well-being of the communities I serve.

Pursuing an MPA with Purpose: Flexibility, Community, and Impact
After researching various Public Administration programs, Jonathan chose Rutgers University for its flexibility and online component. As a father of two, local school board member, and volunteer coach for youth sports programs, commuting time and the ability to complete work asynchronously were high priorities. The MPA program has deepened his expertise in leadership, policy analysis, government budgeting, and human resource management. During the program, Jonathan focused on practical solutions to complex challenges, including financial responsibility coupled with an eye towards ecological sustainment, ethical decision making, and serving diverse communities.
